To whom it may concern,
In order to develop the secondary capacity market for injection, withdrawal and storage at Chiren UGS, Bulgartransgaz EAD, as Chiren UGS operator, together with the operator of the RBP capacity booking platform, developed a new functionality, enabling users of Chiren UGS to transfer capacity between themselves, both within the framework of directly negotiated (OTC) bilateral transactions, and by submitting bids and asks to a bulletin board, including the possibility to announce the bid as anonymous.
The functionality allows the transfer of both a monthly capacity product for injection, withdrawal and storage and a day-ahead capacity product for injection and withdrawal, provided that the transaction is concluded between the users no later than 24 hours before the deadline for nominating the quantities for which the transferred capacity will be used.
All transactions concluded on the RBP for the transfer of injection, withdrawal and storage capacity at Chiren UGS shall be approved on the platform by Bulgartransgaz EAD before they are considered valid.
Transactions concluded after the specified deadline may not be approved.
The functionality is now enabled and can be used using the RBP menu 3.7 Storage and LNG Market Offers.
The platform offers two options to network users - a transaction with a known counterparty with bilateral confirmation (OTC) or a bulletin board type transaction offer, which are selected via the Deal Type menu.
