In compliance with the European and Bulgarian legislation and in line with the best European practices for transparency and non-discrimination, Bulgartransgaz EAD announces a public consultation on the draft Ten-Year Network Development Plan for the period 2025-2034.
The plan presents Bulgartransgaz EAD’s activities envisaged for implementation in the next ten years. The activities aim to ensure the security and diversification of gas sources and routes, increasing transmission and storage capacities in accordance with the expected future levels of demand and supply of natural gas in the country and the region, as well as reducing carbon emissions.
Information is also presented on the company's future investments necessary for the reliable implementation of the licensed activities for transmission and storage of natural gas.
Taking into account European policies and priorities for decarbonization through the gradual introduction and use of low-carbon fuels, the Plan also includes the hydrogen projects of Bulgartransgaz EAD.
Bulgartransgaz EAD invites all interested parties to participate in the public consultation by sending their opinions, proposals and comments on the Plan to the email address info@bulgartransgaz.bg by 30.05.2025.
